MESSENGER DOWN
Help ol' grandpa Brean (MSNGR) with his broken hand and his inability to touch or dress himself. He can't even whipe his own ass. That poor guy. We will be passing the hat to raise some money for a live-in house-boy to help with the ass-whiping.

ha ha.

i was going too fast through traffic and swerved around a potentially braodsiding truck. i hit some gravel near a construction site (an actual site, nerds, not something on the intermaweb) and went sliding, i think into one of the barriers. ironic, eh?

the main injury (besides pride), was my wrist/thumb socket (ask salome, she's got all the edumacation on this) breaking. therefore, my tendon pulled the thumb out of the broken socket permanently, at least w/o surgery (pins and wires and lots of not so fun pain). so, i've had 1 surgery so far. with at least one moe coming.

let me know if you want to hear more of the sob story. it gets better. or worse.

injured pride can be easily healed with alcohol. you just have to finish your beer before you start a new one.

If it weren't for Bre-anne, I'd probably still have two six packs of 'gansett left in my fridge.

this will undoubtedly turn into that scene in jackass where the guys tries to get people to help him button his pant bc he has two broken arms. i can already see MSNGR asking, no scratch that, demanding help buttoning his pants over and over again....

Love to be there but I just got released from St. Vincents ER myself. Some idiot sideswiped me on Varick and W. Housten today. Huge lump on the head and alot of bruises, but nothing broken. Good thing I wasn't wearing my helmet, that thing would have been destroyed!

I'll be back at work by Wed. I'm just pissed off I got released so late tonight that I can't even pick up my pain meds. All the pharmacies in my ghetto are long since closed. Time to hit the whiskey.
My head / eyebrow is so swollen I look like I belong in the neanderthol exhibit at the Natural History Museum. Ack.
