Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

did you see the new mercury? it's the "sad issue"...as in "seasonal affective (is that the word?) disorder". winter in portland...meh...one reason i can tolerate it is that boise winters drop to the single digits sometimes. **** that ****.

i played a show with this guy pat who's sometimes in the ensemble. he played my foldup, a sampler and vox. i played homemade synths and vox. we did the show like an old rap battle where at the end of each part, each of us would lose some clothes. ultimately, we both ended up naked, standing on tables creating cacophony in front of about 150 people. good times!

keep NYC weird?
