Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Today...Mostly cloudy with a chance of light rain. Highs in the 50s. Light winds.

Tonight...Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of rain late. Lows in the upper 30s and 40s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

...wait...so he's worried about a "chance" of rain?

wow, don't move here. it was sunny for about 20 minutes earlier and i thought that kicked ass. if i'm lucky, it might get that way again.

I totally agree. I love my town. Rain is just part of the package.

I moved here from the midwest and compared to the hot, humid summers and bitterly cold winters a little rain is nothing. Big props to all of you 3 pairs of gloves wearin' studded tire types out there.

Well... Mass is lame if it's not massive, but you could always go check it out and see how many people show.

yeah i know, but the thing is.. i've never been to one. and i was hoping to hear some 411 from here about it.. so i can actually know where to go and find these ppl.

last critical mass, tons of ppl posted stuff on here about it. so i'd assume that at least 30% of the participants are from BF.

what, i dont look like mike tyson?

haha yeah...critical mass was uhh interesting tonight. i pretty much finished off the new tire i just put on last weekend with all the hills and lombard stuff.
it was definitely not fixed friendly tonight with all those steep grade downhills up in russian hill.
and the pricks throwing the firecrackers into the crowd early on were pretty lame.

CM gets a big 'mehh' from me.
