Classy choices. This is for my soon-to-be-ordered Nagasawa. I'm torn between good modern parts or great vintage components. My thought to go modern was to maintain a slightly more humble attitude (if that is at all possible with a Nagasawa!)

Yes, I understand. :) I've been with Campy a looong time. It just seems as if this Nagasawa would be best equiped with mostly Japanese parts.

i didn't even know that nagasawa was still taking orders...

anyway, my vote is for superbe pro all the way.

Didn't all of the Campy Pista cranks come with the shield, save for the current model?

Not sure about that, but C-Record was the last gruppo that had their highest level of polish.

superbe pro are flexy deluxe in comparison with the models listed. sugino grand mighty or die. then, da. i would throw campagnolos in the river. **** that ****.

If you see any c-record pista cranks laying around and get the compulsion to huck 'em in the river, post them to me and I'll buy ya a beer next time you're in San Fran. ;)
