Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Mercier Kilo TT review?

Does anyone have any thoughts on or experience with this bike that would encourage or disuade purchase as a fixed commuter? cheers

Hi,

You should try searching this forum for info first; the TT has been discussed at length before.

Bikes: gt gtb & marinoni pista special.

search.
and also, i'm sure you've been on the world long enough that you can prob figure out.
You get what you pay for.

Its a cheap bike but it gets the job done.
however, you'd def. need to change parts very soon after if not immediately.
Its kinda like asking... is buying a supercycle or a bike from zellers any good and worth it.
