Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I hate all of you...

Well, actually I love you all.
But stop making me spend money.
Don't you know I have no will power.

In the last two weeks I've mentioned my desire for two specific products and each time within a half-hour someone has PMd me with an offer too good to refuse.

Anyway, thank you potus and MAK.

I guess my point is that this forum is amazing.

aww poor baby, now instead of two awesome looking bikes with great componants, you have more with extra componants. my heart really goes out to you dude, only if i were so lucky to fall into money and not have to worry about spending cash when ever i get the incling to buy something new.

I probably deserve that.
Although I certainly haven't fallen into money and the stuff I've bought from here as been used and thus at a fairly sizable discount.

And don't worry Jon, your white bike is still the best.

seems like we haven't had a good bffg/ss group hug/cuddle puddle in a while, so i'll jump in too.

yeah, what hp said.

in addition to great deals on parts, i've spent more money than i care to think about, gotten in arguments, gotten drunk, almost arrested, learned a *****-ton of stuff, and most importantly, made a bunch of friends (some of whom i've never met in person).

thanks all, and especially joe and the mods for putting up with us.

It was really a thrill to meet people at the StuporBowl who were like "Are you on the forum? What's your name? Oh, I know you!"
I just wish I could have met more.

Well if it is that easy. I should start to look for a fixed rear wheel for my mtb.

insecure pinheads rattling at the cages of their fragile identities, etc., ad infinitum... i just try to forget this stuff or it just kills me...its enough to ruin my day, especially after having the raddest solo all day ride, all city, sunshine, hills,...ahh forget it. hopeless. people suck.

I just want to point out that I do not live in a big city and there is no fg/ss "scene" anywhere near here. So this is where I come to be entertained and motivated to ride and learn lots. It's lonely out here...*snif*...

True. Except for the greek kids (BAD DRIVERS but easy to avoid) and the occasional gun-racked pickup. I'm finishing the conversion TONIGHT! YEEE! very excited.

Hey, you stole my quote!!! That's what I said to you as you rounded the corner towards Grumpy's. But seriously, wish we could have talked more, I was leaving the bar and you were heading back towards it. Like I said in another thread, I only recognized you from that sweet-ass Bianchi you were riding. My Benotto was all jealous 'cause I kept staring..........
