I ride with about 3 or 4 dudes on the weekends. I am the only one riding fixed though. Our gang activity involves yelling at guidos wearing funny designer clothes, and then sprinting away into places where they can't catch us. LOLz are achieved.

shark fin, there about 13 of us here in philly holding it down.

The local wheel club in my area does nothing but ride up and down Wolf Creek Pass. There is no way in hell I could ride 8 miles up a 7% grade mountain pass with my 83.11 gear inch fixie. Im to weak. So I pretty much ride by myself when on any of my fixies. Got a few friends I ride BMX with though.

Gear down to 65-70 and go for it dood... slow and steady, and to keep from blowing up try not to let your breathing rate get ahead of your rpms. Inhalation and exhalation every 1 1/2 crank rotations is a good place to be. You will get up faster than a lot of your roadie pals, and on the descent you will get dropped like an anvil tied to a piano tied to another heavy thing.

Kenny, just wait till we finish getting our colors made up. ThroatF*ckers ftw.

Starting a bike gang is one of my long term goals.
I've already got the gang, bloodthirsty drunken scallywags the lot of them. I just need to get them all on bicycles and we should be ready to rule the pool. I think we're not going to be very creative with names, and just call it the Bottles and chains PDX chapter. On a side note, if you get a dUI on a bicycle can you not ride your bike for 90 days or what? |

bike clubs/rides are usually excuses for dirtbags to compare whose flatbars are more narrow and who has the newst/best picture in their spokes. Ride to ride, not for fashion.
|
All my boys all carry these so you can recognize and respect us - Team Performance. I'm sure you've heard of my crew.

I'd hardly call a rag tag group of drunken punk rockers raising hell fashionable, but I guess if you're sportin spandex in comparison a little leather and studs might go a long way. |
It's a solo act here in southern Maryland.

This would be the type of bike gang that wears back patches, once they are created - and goes to a dive bar and plays pool and intimidates everyone else there - like "hit on your girlfriend and you ain't gonna do **** cos you'll get a pool stick across your back" sort of intimidation. We will also do Toys for Tots to keep it legit. You need to satisfy one of the two requirements: 1.) you ride a fixed gear bicycle 2.) you are a somewhat attractive female that is willing to get skanked up and talk trash, like how bad any one of us will kick someone's ass. The first 15 people to join will not have to kill a SUV driver to have the choice of getting beat or ****ed in. |

I ride alone. |

I roll with both Cincy Mayhem and Cincy Sprint Club; and there are about a gillion other training\group oriented rides that go on around here every week.
Cincinnati bike scene repersent! |
I ride with the Nads.
GO NADS! |
Unreal Detroit Crew. A relatively small, fluctuating, group of us who ride and ride/win alley cats in Detroit. We have team spoke cards, but mainly sarcastic in tone.
Never heard of bike tag, but that was the best thing I heard today. Have the Cutters been mentioned yet? |
My friends, girlfriend and I (yes my girlfriend's also my best friend) have a joke team called the PEDALfiles: Lincoln Chapter. We probably figured that someone had though of that name, but we still like it. And we also have a team motto/quote: "We spoke too soon!"
We're trying to find a totally sweet, original name. Copyright: me |
