Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

That's a Birdy folding bike. When he sits on it, the elastomer in the rear will compress and the chain will pull taught. Not my first choice for a folding fixie.

PS- The Ground Up (copper colored bike with carbon disc) in that picture is one of my favorite track bikes ever.

(Feel free to agree, disagree, and post bikes from the internet that you think are awesome, terrible, hot, fugly, or just generally remarkable. Lets make this a sticky! Lets restrict this to pictures of bikes that the owners have chosen to post online (rather than pics that people take of bikes they see locked-up on the street).
I have to admit that its one of the coolest bikes to be posted on FGG in a while. Really reasonable gearing with eggbeaters (better than any U-lock you can buy), nice wheels, hot cranks, and canti brakes. Its obviously an old cyclocross bike, and could probably power through most track bikes in any real life riding environment.
