Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

some quick crappy photos of the beginnning of the build. just waiting on a pair of sugino 75s in black and a black velocity/formula/DT wheelset to finish the build.

that is sharp. really nice rim/tire combo. maybe next time remove the black backdrop though so all your black components really stand out.

Looks very nice, but it looks like you run out of tire clearance when the axle is all the way forwards in the track ends. Easily avoided, but maybe something to watch out for next time?

yeah its close but there is about 1mm of clearance. the axel is all the way forward in the pics without the ring on.

Ah, I see. Must just be the angle. Looks like you took that into account then. Well done! I can't get over how great (and complete) a job you did on this.
