Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Just as soon as they reinforce said shelves.

My girlfriend has the 3000, I guess this is just thicker shackle for longer cut time. This is starting to be overkill, has anyone ever actually had stuff stolen that was locked with a 3000 and wasn't some $3500 bike?

That's more like a motorcycle lock... Brutal
The New York looks flimsy in comparison:

I don't know if making it this beefy is useful in any way. Any bigger than a standard NY, and people will a) attack the cylinder; b) cut the parking meter instead. I don't know if any New York was ever cut.

A few were cut as part of magazine reviews. They used a plasma torch, and did it in 8 seconds. BTW, that second picture is of the tubular-keyed lock, which is also vulnerable to Bic pens.

Is this the Fahgettaboudit Mini that I was reading about in a trade rag? I wanted to buy it a few weeks ago, but no distributers had it, even though it was shown at Interbike last fall. Instead, I had to go with another Evo 3k mini. Damn slow release time table!
