Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: heh, like that info would fit here...

Now I'm in Trouble

At NAHBS I finally got to talk with Jonny Kendziera and give him a deposit for a bike. Didn't want to trouble him too much at the show, so we talked a little and I said that I'd contact him soon with more info. He gave me a hat (very nice US made cycling cap in black/white w/ "Jonny (star) Cycles" on the side.

I was wearing the hat today when my partner, who notices everything and has been a little suspicious of me and that show says, "I thought you were against wearing anything with a logo unless you used their stuff or were being paid to wear it. So are you now sponsored by Jonny Cycles?" She's really too observant for my own good...

Bikes: many

Yup. I came home with one of those sweet lids too. I was so broke I had to trade a tshirt for it.
My wife goes "Jonny, huh? How much is this gonna cost?"
Smart girl...

My wife always notices. Even when you think they don't notice, they do. They just save it for when they can REALLY throw it in your face. They know.

Bikes: many bikes

Many times at the LBS I have been tempted. For April fools, I'm thinking of asking them to let me demo one of their Dual suspesion demo bikes. Something tells me that when I take it home, death to come quickly. But then again, when she sees "test bike" plastered on the top tube, she will figure it out.
