Resurrection!

After a very long time, from the ashes of multiple upgrades, my original conversion is back - as a SS with a flip/flop.
Built her back up tonight from scratch in just under two hours, which I found fairly impressive.
So, there she is.

(I know there is a photo sticky, so don't even bother)

Did you really need to post a mediocre(at best) conversion in its own page? Seriously?

A ss with just a front break seems ballsy to me. I guess you just have to really pay attention. Sounds like riding brakeless. SS with a front brake will be the next big craze.

The front-brake-stopping-power debate is one that I can't flush through.
All I have are front brakes, so on it went.

I'm a "front brake is all you need *cough* except in wet weather" kind of guy. Then again I do like the feeling of a brake-controlled wet pavement skid, except when in traffic.

I like it, but whenever I think about handlebars I think of what would be efficient for climbing hills and the fact that you can't vary your positions, get low in drop, or spread your body forward over bullhorns makes me say no.
But if Milwaukee is flat, straight bars would be cool I guess. They do have a look to them.
whats the frame?

The bars are horrible for long distance riding.
I rode them on a 4+ hour CM in Boston last year and pinched a nerve in my hand.
The bike wont be ridden very much (mainly an extra bike for guests) so I decided to throw on the straight bars for a "vintage" look.

It's an old, maybe 70s, Motobecane.
