Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: track and road

here are my *****es:

I hold my dogs on a short leash about 4 feet with my right hand streched to the side while left hand holds the handelbar. Fixed gear is essential for this activity !!!
I can ride with 2 dogs for a short distance only because the Jack Russell would pull me so hard I'm afraid she would eventualy die from exhaustion. Beagle is no problem at all, she loves running next to a bike.

p.s. I would recomend reading a good book on dog behavior.
