anudder fork question: cheapo Performance carbon
I'm scoping out cheap carbon 1 inch threadless forks for my commuter ss/fixie.
I note Performance have a cheap "forte axis" fork
(https://www.performancebike.com/shop/...tegory_ID=5232).
I'm used to the la-la lovely carbon fork on my Specialized geared rbike, so have no clue as to how such a cheap carbon fork will do.
Anyone any experience with the Axis fork? Any idea if it will last a reasonable length of time and feel ok?
ffff

made by kinesis. call them up and they'll tell you. Its a good line of forks. That said, this is another question that comes up every three days or so. Perhaps we should compile a sticky for common questions.
