Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Seriously folks, this is old news. I remember seeing ads for this in the back of Runner's World in the mid-90's.

BUT, the Quick Reply box is back! yay!

Like, he was getting well after every illnes he got, well into his 50s, right? And then he got cancer at 58 or something.

Nobody's going to get up to 50MPH on a row bike, on level ground, right?

hey, i'm just spittin back what i heard. and that's that my former coworker's teammate had a row bike, and it went really effin' fast. in the 50s, mph, not talkin about those crazy newfangled "kilometers."

reading that again, it really sounds like hearsay...
