Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yeah, excluding you. It's funny how I'm in your town in you're in mine, you must admit that the irony is brilliant.

Rain? Hmmm, someone should have a house party in the event of rain.

I'm still down. I won't be out too long, but I think it will be nice and warm out (read: above 50 degrees).

If it's raining, I'm going to try to finish up the stairmaster video.
I will be at Cal's around 4:30 if anyone wants to join me for a few.

This is Seth. How are you finding your visit so far? Looks like even with the 90% chance of rain it stayed dry for you today. I hope you got out and found something to do today as well as last night. Its supposed to be crap tomorrow but J fixed that bike that he got hit by that car on so we may be in the streets late tomorrow if you are looking for something to do.

I miss chi-town and the prospect of an inner-city century almost warrants a visit!

We are doing one this weekend, but it has also spawned off onto another date with better planning. And then in august I plan to return the very successful century we had last year.

Hey I just want to thank you guys for showing me a good time out in the gritty streets of Chicago. I had major msg-high last night and my side still hurts from that fall but I'll take it as a parting souvenier. If you all ever come to the city and want a tour guide, let me know. Take care!

I vote for very late August. I think I'm getting home on the 20th or so.

Just imagine how bad your side would hurt without the assistance of medical MSG!

Oh no! Are you okay?! You weren't wearing a helmet that night either! Man. Take it easy out there, medical bills are steep.
