Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

This hipster:

Huck Finn's has agreed to be a sponsor of the No Nos Quartermile!!! They will provide a gift certificate to the winner and possibly some day-old-doughnuts for general consumption.

Owww, my hip! My brain would be scrambled eggs if it weren't for my helmet.
I don't know how people roll without one.

I was going to wait for monkey to post, but then I got this mental image of cardstock freaking out in anticipation...

Monkey rolled a tubie around Randolph and went down. It was pretty wet out.

Ouch. Stream

EDIT: The shots of the tracks looking down from Roosieveldt, even the very dark one, look a lot better in full-size- its my new desktop.
