Sweet Comeuppance: follow up to 'pipe bomb' story
The other thread is closed, I don't know why, but here's some follow-up on the story of the kid whose bike was not a pipe bomb. He's being reimbursed. Link
"A university attorney says the replacement cost of the seven-year-old touring bike is between $800 and $1,300."
Nice.

lucky for him the sticker didn't say "this bike is osama bin laden" otherwise it would be in club gitmo by now and forced to stand trial.

I was going to say the same thing...Thats the one thing he wouldnt get to do...Stand trial. He would just have to stand...at all times.

I don't think being a relative of the bin laden's is too hard, there were 50 children IN ONE MARRIAGE! It makes it easier when you have a bajillion wives, but the bin laden name is like a gucci hand bag, it's nice but your not one of the few.
p.s. hell yeah! more power to that kid

yeah, standing trial would be an improvement forthe gitmo detainees. as far as bin laden, i think bush has forgotten who osama bin laden is. he was just a stepping stone to getting into iraq anyway.
