What helmet?

So I'm in need of a new helmet (https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=185591).

Anybody recommend one for relatively cheap, for somebody with a BIG head, that isn't all roadie-riffic, nor a MTB helmet, nor a BMX helmet?

Bell Slant.
The adjustment knob on the back is nice. I finally have a helmet which feels like it fits.
Just yank that stupid ass visor off.

I like the Bell Metro. Remove the visor unless you ride upright all the time. It is a $70.00 helmet but Nashbar has last year's model on SALE for $40.00.

Unfortunately, the cheaper version of the Metro is one-size-fits-some, while the Metro comes in a couple of different sizes. If you have a big melon, you'll probably need to go for the more expensive one. Whatever helmet you go for, I would respectfully suggest that you shouldn't let price supercede comfort/fit in your selection criteria. If your helmet fits comfortably, you're more likely to want to wear it and it's more likely to stay on when you crash.

I got the giro havoc 05 from nash bar for $46 out the door (10% off coupon). Only helmet at sports authority that would fit my HUGE head (was $75 there).

The Giro eclipse fits my (big oval) head really good, has a small enough profile that it doesn't looks all mushroomy like a mtb helmet, well vented, and comes in lots of colors. And I've never had to buy a this years models, you can always find a last year's for about 40$, or at least I have.
