You In Reverse
My Masi and Built To Spill have been companions for many years. Today a new BTS album was released and the bike and I are very happy.

I was listening to them as I found this post. Psyched about the new album and maybe seeing them in Boston in a couple weeks if the wallet allows.
Something about Built to Spill reminds me of summer and warmer weather.

i hate seeing them live. i used to live next door to their bassist. he said he also hated seeing them live. living in boise, i got a chance to see them free every spring...it's probably coming up soon. 3 minute songs injected with pointless 10-minute guitar solos...no thanks, doug.

And here I am listening jadedly to "All Rise" by hometown heros, Naked Raygun.
Back in the day, you could give me Strohs, Camel nails, and a pit that moved like no pack of track bikes ever could. The sound and fury, as Sean would say. Where are those days? Gone for sure...
and I caught BTS at the Metro with Skitbra a while back - great show, ****ed crowd.

Never seen them live before, but I can see the potential for rambling guitar solo abuses. Don't they usually play freebird or something for an encore? yikes.

When a pit was a pit before the mullets called it mosh. The skins in the center pushin' and tripping the punks running in circles. It was fun...a lot less dangerous than the "just push forward and crush the ****ers at the front".
