Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

the monkeys

The monkeys worry about everything. Especially, about what all the other monkeys think.

Bikes: I built the Bianchi track bike back up today.

If it's about hipsters, then the whole planet must be hipsters.

Thanks for the link!

nietzsche is a ******bag. if you want to be an existentialist, at least write it into fun to read books like camus or sartre. i'm not going to pore over endless pages of pretentious drivel so some schmuck with a moustache can convince me of his worldview.

and yes, people are monkeys.

nice. reminds me of that part in the introduction to all the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy books where adams refers to humanity as a bunch of "hairless apes".
