Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I thought the point was to incite DW to get all huffy in an online forum, and pound his virtual fists and kick his virtual feet, and threaten to stop posting...

If you see something that's at an 'amateur' level, it's probably because the customer wanted it that way. After dealing with Dave for my past 5 projects, I can say he is extremely talented and is completely professional.
Stock paintjob on Orbea bikes don't have decals, either.

This thread is totally failing to satisfy my internet bloodlust. I don't know whether DW is a good businessman or not, but he's about a million times more tactful than that guy who makes the sweatshirts.

twice in the same thread, i believe. i think that only counts as one comeuppance. the real question is, is that a speed hole on the top tube?

EDIT: definitely a different thread. see subsequent posting re: ******baggery

I think Don might've realized that no good can come of arguing with bored geeks on the internet.
