Are there any keirin builders, track-friendly shops, or keirin-filled garbage dumps one could check out in Okinawa for used/cheap frames parts? Colour me curious.

Not that I know of but they suppose to have a velodrome, and keirin racers do live there. I have not seen a track shop there yet.

I wish I had more time . need info about the little island PM me. Got yrs of experience there.

talk to yohei (spastica on flickr)... his english is not too great, but if anyone can point you to bike shops in japan, it is him.

128 , he wants OKi. No builders in Oki. Just checked. There are 2 shops in Oki that I visited(did not ride a bike during my time(ok Years in Japan).One pro rode shop near Naha.

The velodrome never found it but never search hard enough. I email some body that will know alittle more in Oki.
