bikeforums dreams!?

anyone had a dream about bike forums?

last night i had this really weird dream that jim_bob found a track bike that had 40" wheels on it that he outfitted with 19c tires. totally crazy to see him riding it in my sleep.

i hope i'm not the only one...

Bikes: Team Fooj

Right after reading the thread about Major Taylor's hill, I had a dream about said hill. In said dream, said hill was much steeper and much larger (and the only thing in the landscape) than it could possibly be ever anywhere. I crawled up it, but was afeared of going down.

Bikes: I built the Bianchi track bike back up today.

Oddly, I've had a few. Usually, it's when I have my laptop sitting on the laptop by my futon, because I tend to sleep with my eyes open... Sometimes I dream that there are messages in my gmail box, then walk into the other room, and there's the same number of messages, from the same places.

Perhaps my life is far to routine...

I had a dream about racing at a velodrome that was suspended in the attic of a Haunted Mansion style house. It was... weird.

The next morning my wife asked me if I was dreaming about cycling because I was panting as if I were riding.

that's what it was! i showed up at HR's house unannounced in the middle of winter. and he was about to take off someplace with his family, who he was eating with. there wasn't much extra, but i ate with them. the end. though we may have met up with some other bf members later on in the dream. something along those lines. i think i also dreamt of riding my bike all up and down curbs and stairs and stuff.

Bikes: Full Fendered Bareknuckle, Faggin with 10spd Centaur, 1973 Raleigh 3spd Cruiser.

the timing of this thread is strange, considering I had a bicycle (not BF sadly) related dream last night. My bike got stolen, somehow I knew where the chopshop was, and upon getting it back, I realized the wheels had been rebuilt with some colorful yarn* instead of spokes.

* don't bother, I'm already working on a patent.

Haha, shut the **** up!
You never told me about that.
You did tell me about some dream you had where you met Juvi-Kyle and he was mean to you.

Ok, who else is dreaming about me?

No, just you. And you don't have to call me God. "O, Supreme Being" will suffice. After all, we're chums.

Haha, I can't help it if I've infested people's subconscious.

Bikes: mine

I have those work dreams where I'm riding around some strange city looking for an address, and my dispatcher is yelling out of my radio 'where the hell are you?!' Or the worst, the recurring nightmare where I get to the building and lock up my bike, only to discover that I've lost the package. That one sucks.

After reading this thread, I had a bevy of bizzare dreams...the strangest being the one when I filled up my frame with PBR for fuel, then went riding. My rear cog stripped as I flew down this really steep hill with an elephant at the bottom. I crashed into the elephant, and my bike exploded. There was nothing left but my head floating in a huge pool of beer, and the elephant dipped his trunk in and started to drink. I felt my head spinning around in this great whirling vortex of PBR, ever closer to doom.

Oh, doctor, what does this mean???
