They are pretty fugly actually. You are probably better off just getting a track fork with 38mm rake that is drilled for a brake. They are around and cost less than that junk. Unless you really are just using the brake for short trips, say to the track and back, I'd say get a drilled fork.

i would only have a front brake on when doing long trips, centuries or more outta the city, which is a small part of my riding. i'd rather go with an undrilled fork (being custom built) since 90% of the time it wouldn't have a brake on it and drilled forks with no brakes look inelegant to me.

I'd bet you could buy a 2nd drilled fork for cheaper than one of those clamp-on brakes cost.

I would go with no brake holes. Have a 2nd bike for longer rides/trips. Is this gonna be a track machine or street machine?

That's totally understandable.

Anyway any EAI distributor can probably get you this one:

good luck

EDIT: wait, that's only the rear brake. hmm. I guess that explains the gold nagasawa...

yeah, the rears seem easy enough to find, but i'd like a front if possible to cut down on cable mess.

I would go w/ drilled then for the front. You got one brakeless (hole) machine then. Plus, aren't you planning on running horns???
