Cool pic of me with Stewie

Ok, so I'm looking fat and out of shape in this pic, deservedly, but it's with Stewie!

Saw that while riding past a train car, and my friend had his camera with him. I had to get a picture.

Look at any old graf book like Subway Art-- people were always tagging comic book/cartoon characters. Vaughn Bode was the most popular and is pretty underground, but I've also seen the smurfs, superman and stuff like that.

Yes! As soon as I have a Sunday where I'm awake at noon, and not busy doing something else. I keep trying to make it every weekend but being busy.

We changed our standing meeting. Now it's at 5:30 at our shop at 36th and broadway. All new info is at the forum.

In Poland, in 1999, I saw an entire train car graff'ed up with the logo guy from "Mr. Clean". He was like 10 feet tall, holding a bottle of Mr.Clean and pouring it out onto another guys carefully applied tag and scrubbing it away. The artist of the Mr.Clean art had actually colormatched the paint of the traincar and replicated part of the traincar serial number to create the illusion that Mr. Clean was successfully cleaning off the tag and exposing a fresh surface of original traincar paint underneath.

It was amazing, must have taken hours to apply. I did not have a camera.

...or a long overdue "tags you found while riding" thread. Sounds like a good idea.

I met the guy who posed for the original mr clean bottle. He lives in lake tahoe. Or did, he may be dead now. I met him 10 years ago and he looked pretty old. He looked kind of like a really buff yoda.
