Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: track bikes, etc

things I miss about riding rollers...

1) The French New-Wave movie one can watch while puttin miles in.
2) Racing wheels beneath your feet
3) Rides that last longer than the length of SF or shorter
4) FAUX FLATS(because the floor in your old apartment is not flat)
5) Looking at all your sweet rides you are not on

Right now I even miss the sweat that would normally feel good because of the wind but just drips off of you because there is no wind.

God damnit.

Everyone in SF wiggles around, you dont even go up or down the hills, what are you talking about.

BUT IT IS SO BORING.

The only fixed gear ive seen so far here was a converted mountain bike with front shocks. It was different, I'll give him that(this thing sounds like the ****ing jam)

If I rode rollers I would end up masturbating out of boredom. Or try to at least. ********** saddle anyone?

I liked it when kyle rode rollers because I could throw bricks at him at my convenience. That explains a lot about his incoherent postings.

PS> kyle, you are coming for the PUMA race in July, right?

Rollers are better than a turbo trainer, but riding on the road with bugs in your teeth and sweat in your brow is the best.
