For the past 2 years, they have been met by people in the streets — people who object to Wal-Mart's longstanding anti-worker, anti-women, anti-community and anti-environmental policies and practices. thursday - June 1st - All day meetup at the All Peoples Unite Infoshop (location) for folks coming in from out of town. Hospitality arrangements and final preparations.

Friday- June 2nd - Quarantine Wal-Mart!
Time: 12:30 Noon. Gather at Fayetteville High School (location). March to the Shareholders Meeting and declare Wal-Mart under quarantine!

Why a quarantine? A majority of Wal-Mart employees have no healthcare while the healthcare options that Wal-Mart does provide are inadequate and full of hidden costs. Because of these and other violations, Wal-Mart has been classified by the Bureau of Worker Health as a threat to public safety and will be placed under strict quarantine until said offenses are remedied

Saturday - June 3rd - Bikes not Sprawl bike ride! Time: 12:00 Noon. Bike ride begins at Fayetteville Town Square (location). Ride to the 6th Street Wal-Mart!



We are the seeds of local resistance to the largest corporation ever and we will grow. To H. Lee Scott and all other Walmart bigwigs, we are not going anywhere. To our many supporters, thank you and we’ll see you in the streets!
