2006 Baltimore Ghetto Blaster, Yo.

17 Check Points through the worst parts of Baltimore. (It ain't called Ghetto Blaster for nothing)
25+ miles.
1 pitbull dog fight.
1 horse.
30 riders lost after CP #1.
1 rider shot in the eye.
Several riders assulted by locals.
1 rider arrested at a CP (and will likely be in Central Booking in Baltimore 'till Tuesday)

...and that was during the race.

It was a Blast, yo.

Flick it

no one in the eye, but one got pretty close. Also, my group got one of those orange traffic barrels thrown at us by a big gang of teenagers, hitting one rider but luckily failing to take him completely down.

Yeah, it was fun for me, too.

Maggie Moores will never be the same again! Remember the looks on those peoples faces when they came in for a nice quiet dinner and saw all of the bikers! They were like, "WTF?!?!"

my friend tommy was one of the two to get shot near the eye, wish I could have raced, but I had prior obligations. From what I heard about it, that **** was nuts.

Tommy was right behind me when he was shot. I hear "whoo man, i'm shot".
Paintballs at the checkpoint. Luckily, we were each some 80 ounces into Naty Boh so he wasn't to bad.

The after party was pretty highlarious. We brought the ghetto to this fancy restaurant/bar.
If anyone found my camera in the bar, i lost a few guinness in. If you know Andy's number, pm me it. Thanks.

I think my favorite part of the race was rolling past a hospital and seeing a guy in a gown and a wheelchair smoking a cigarette on the corner.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Tommy got mauled in the pitbull fit. Luckily he carries neo-sporine in case of such an attack.

Yeah, but it doesn't matter in B'More Believe it or not, it's scarrier to actually SEE the hood you are riding through in the daylight.

**** and i thought the ghetto of asbury park was bad. you got some high tech teenagers with paintball guns? we just have 8 year old with automatic pistols and bloods vengance gangland killings that don't get reported in the paper for fear the tourist industry might be affected.

being stoked about your town being more dangerous is a bit rediculous. I live in baltimore, north of where the race was held, last night I heard roughly 5 gun shots, didn't make me proud. I want to move.

If paintball was part of the race, why were they shooting for the head? That is ****ed up, and anyone who would do such a thing is a piece of ****.
