Wheels, wheels, wheels.

Hi all! I'm trying to decide which wheels to use. I'm about 150lbs, I'll be riding both the street and track. The wheels I'm considering are the Bontrager Track Select, Bontrager Race X Lite, Mavic Ellipse, or Cane Creek Volos.

I've searched w/ my dial-up connection, but can't find a comparison. Thanks for your help everyone!

I know that this isn't a direct comparison...

I can only speak for the Mavic Ellipse on the street. They are a very light, very stiff, and very strong clincher with track/track flip-flop hubs. They require little to no maintanence. You can get a new set for around $400. Not a bad deal. I hear they ride well on the track.

any specific reason why you want boutique wheels as opposed to a standard wheelset with good rims, spokes and hubs?

Honestly, I like how these wheels look.
