Bikes on the Bus

Anybody have any experience bringin your bike on the bus, specifically the Chinatown express? I wanna know if I store it under the bus is it still gonna be rideable, I mean it is the Chinatown express we're talking about here. Or can I just bring it on in the passenger area, I mean it is the Chinatown express we're talking about here.

i know, i used to take one from boston now and then when i wanted to go to ny when i lived on the east coast. i was just being a jackass making fun of the OP for repeating "this is the chinatown express we're talking about here" in every sentence.

d.c. at some point in the next month...

and im trying to figure out if i bring my ride on board or if it has to be stored below. not that it really matters i guess as long as i can...just trying to know before i get on, so as to avoid a shoe getting thrown at me or something. plus those busses are pretty craptastic, so i wanna make sure im not riding a bent frame or some tacos when i get to d.c., and amtrack can eat a d*

Bikes: 'Cha-ruzu Fosuta Orusan Kein' Fuji Track (2005), Schwinn Tank MTB (?), Fuji Royale (1979)

put it in the compartment with the spare tire, and then close the door after you have it situated so others dont try to put their crap on top of your bike.
