Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Look at this great SS crowd!

It's great to see so many rebel riders!!! Those who dare to cast off the un-needed gears/ derailleurs and fight the elements single geardedly!! We need some club t-shirts!!

I remember seeing a ss saying, "Less gears, more beers." Maybe that can go on the t-shirts.

I for one wouldn't want so many gears that I couldn't count them and as such want less of them.
