I might be building a SS huck bike, but want to be able to fit 3.0's. Which frame would you cats suggest?

Bikes: Surly Cross-Check, Miyata three-ten

Both the Surly 1x1 and the on-one inbred claim to fit 2.7s with clearance left over.

Are you sure you want 3" tires? Seems kinda extreme for anything short of a DH bike.

Okay, this might be more of what you're looking for.

I wonder what size tires this Specialized would fit

man, I feel like such a faker...I don't even own a SS! however, I think it might be fun to have one...does that count?

I think that you might be happiest with a pure stock P.1. simple, SS, and seemingly tough. good price, too! If i had $500 just hanging around, I buy it.

I was looking at my son's Dan's comp catalog the other day, and they are having a great sale on some frames. I have a birthday coming up, so I made a very obvious hint about this one particular 24" frame.

What do you guys think? A 24" BMX frame set up with a disc in the back, King hubs, all the other cool doo-dads that go with it. I'm not sure how it would work but a BMX setup with 24" tires sounds like a cool idea to me...

24" bmx bike for hucking? I have no idea. I was under the impression that most BMX bike have limited tire clearance. I wouldn't think you'd be able to fit a 3.0" tire on one.

I underestimated how big a 3.0 was. I put 2.5's on the Bullit and they are HUGE. So, 3.0 tires are no longer all that important.
