Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

adventures for the cure

Thought this was pretty cool and figured I'd give a heads up to everyone on the boards. On wednesday night these guys came out and rode with me and my crew (eugene fixty club, I'm the kid in the light green shirt on the left in the dancing pictue.) They're riding fixed from spokane washington to baltimore it think "To raise money and awareness for the American Diabetes Association and for Kupenda, an organization that gives aide to children with disabilities in Africa."

Either way they were cool kids and one of em bought us 14 shots of soco and lime at the end of the night so you should shoot em a message if they're gonna be rolling through your area, i know they still need a place to stay in a few towns.

so yeah just thought it was cool, cheers.

yeah, i was just pointing out that the op's link wasn't working...since they put it up, i thought they might also want it to work, and to know if it does/doesn't work.
