That fisheye makes me look awful on a weekly basis.

The Tamron was a hand-me-down...it's not so bad.

My sister and I used to share a first-gen Nikon F with a broken lightmeter...that thing was fun. No idea what happened to it.

yeah, bought mine in 97 or 98 freshman year of High school. i can remember 3 things that I bought for the first time 1. my first bike 2. my first camera and 3. my first car. None of which I have anymore, but put to more use than most things get over a life time. Broke my first bike racing BMX, Wore out the Nikon, and put over 150 thousand miles (in 5 years) on the honda before it got totalled

Mmm, Hassy. I miss shooting 120 film. Had both a Rollei 6006 and a Hasselblad 503c before I sold off almost all of my film equipment (6006, 503c, Leica R4, Leicaflex). Still have a Holga and a Nikon FE, but shoot pretty much all digital with a Sony DSC-V3. I'm waiting on a great 120-sized digital sensor... that doesn't cost $10,000+. The prices on new MF equipment are just insane -- $2000 for a new Hasselblad H2 back, 20-30k for the digital back! $10,000 for the body! Totally and utterly insane.

[although i can't be bothered to get into another fu<king film vs. digital arguement. most photographers have bigger problems in the way they take photos than the quality differences between film/digital capture are going to show up.]

sorry, but you guys stumbled upon my other life.......When I was working in a catalog house the client I ran was National Ace Hardware. I was shooting a 503cw with various lenses a 45 degree prism and a Phase1 P25. That **** was insane. It was like a $45,000 set up. I was afraid to take it off the stand......the stress of bringing that **** on location.......image quality was pretty good to say the least. I still love film, although I shoot it way too infrequently.

My girlfriend got a Mamiya not too long ago with 2 lenses
and it cost a bit more than my one of my complete bikes
(I don't build my bikes cheap either). I wanted to give her
flack about how much the camera was, but then she asked
me "How many bikes have you got again?" Totally shut down.
