Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I like the way the tilt on the seat lines up really nicely with the dropped stem...

The rear wheel is frickin cool though

So does this shop sell anything bike related or are they just a clothing store?

That is one repulsive frame geometry... And a ****ed up saddle tilt. Somebody should go and grab the seat cluster lug and pull it back 4 or 5 inches. Then it would look like an actual bike...

I want the rear wheel, though. Badly. What is it? The shop had a plastic (carbon?) disc chromed?

Bikes: Old ****ed up Cannondale roadie, peice o **** Gitane as a beater, and I use my Nishiki for bike camping

you need to take another picture of that bike with one more bike reflected in the rear wheel, or the ocean or a nice pair of tits ... or a mountain.

They sell hard to find bike parts as well as being a clothing store. The owner, Oliver, rides track and fixie and and goes to Japan a lot to bring back rare clothing lines and hard to find bike gear.

BTW, that's one of Oliver's bikes, not mine.

The disk was originally brushed aluminum, they had it sanded, buffed, polished, whatever... to a shine.

Pink + Powdercoated deep V's = 2 fads in one. All the timeless style of a hypercolor T shirt.

Ways you can tell whoever built this doesn't know diq about bikes:

-Disk wheel ridden on street (WTF for?)
-Near-vertical seat tube ridden on street (WTF for?)
-Seat set up for looks, not function (does he point his seats up if he rides a MTB with a positive angle stem?)
-32 spoke radial front (The point of a radial front is to save weight. So obviously one would go with lots of spokes and a high flange hub.)
-Valve stem cap on presta valve

If you go to the flikr stream these pics came from, you will see a bunch of other silly bikes from this clown squad. i.e.:

Also, don't miss this BS:

Hate patrol in full effect. Remember dolface's 3rensho?

I don't recall quite the hate parade on that piece.

Definitely having a nude of some sort reflected on that wheel would be the bomb.

Bikes: track bikes, etc

that panasonic kind of sucks pretty hard...that seatangle is just dumb. The ****in front wheel is garbage. I would have to say the cranks are ****in rad...but then they thought they were goin to climb some mountain pass in Baltimore and drilled the chainring. The rear wheel ****in rocks but that is all you guys got.

edit: I take back everything...I just saw the site, those guys and gal are ****in rad!

Bikes: highly modified specialized crossroads and GT hybrid (really a [formerly] 12-speed bmx cruiser, made before 'hybrid' took on its current meaning), as yet unmodified redline 925, couple of other projects

The only things Dolface's 3rensho has in common with this bike is the near-vert seat tube and the radial + high flange front. On the first issue, D-man has it geared for track (though he may ride it on the street too, no skin off mine). As for the wheel I can't see what those rims are, but I'm guessing that unlike deep v's he couldn't get them drilled in any multiple of 4 from 16-40, and I'm just not going to talk smack about that hub.

I know the story on the first bike. It was built from parts laying around the shop. It wasn't a show piece.

It's funny. This shop is bringing hard to find parts from JP and making it available in a store where you can just walk in and get it plus they are making clothes and gear FOR YOU (whether you like it or not) and you are hating on them.

If you don't like it, why don't you call/email them suggestions on how to make it better instead of spitting on it. You know, it could be worse. No one would care to import or design fixed/track products then you'd b1tch about that: "Why doesn't someone make stuff for us?"

Trendy or not, I like Pink AND powder coated Deep Vs. The frame angle does look crazy but I still want a pink Panasonic. I love Sashae's.

Anyone know what those crazy orange and yellow shoes are?
