I put different bars on my Redline 925 (pics)

can i have a medal

I changed the bars, ditched the fenders, put 23cm tires on, and a Brooks B17. I like the bars much better. So now I have a steel langster.

Bikes: Zebrakenko (nishiki knock-off) fixed. Its all broke though. Now, some other old, unidentified japanese frame, freshly spray-painted black(kinda hot). Puch, ss...or is that fffda7th's?

Hey Relayer, were you looking for a medal, or were you just showing off some pics of your sweet bike? I am guessing the latter. I dig that redline. Nice work. Ride it like you stole it. Alaska loves you too.

i don't mean to hate, but there is a place to post pictures of your bike already. it's not like this unremarkable redline needs a thread all of it's own.

Except without the aluminum and ugliness. I am glad he posted this, because it's the first "normal" 925 picture I've seen yet. Since they come stock with the fenders and moustache bars, it's rare you'll see one that isn't set up that way. Thanks Relayer.

Once again there is a pics thread. Everyone is proud of their bike but we don't need a new thread everytime you change your grips...

Why not? Do you feel honor bound to read every single thread? Not only did you click on the subject which clearly said there were pics of a 925 inside, you took the time to respond. It's not like he didn't warn ya. Having a stickie for pictures is fine, but as far as I know there is no rule that says you have to post all your bike pics there.

If you must ***** every time someone starts a thread to show of pics of their bike, go ahead, but there isn't any rule that says they have to post in the pictures stickie. They are not doing anything wrong, and people *****ing about it every time is more annoying than people posting pictures of their bikes.

Maybe we should start a sticky for the whines that inevietably show up after the pics
and the pic ppls can tell the whiners to post to the sticky ?

What is it with you jerks about being pissy when someone posts a thread with pictures? The O.P. even said pics in the thread title. If you don't want to look at pictures outside the pictures thread, don't click on the titles that say pics. Its really that simple. I, for one, like the threads with pictures, and am happy when someone makes one, as I won't have to read through pages of responses to see them, like i do in the picture thread. For those of you (both who joined within the last 4 months) who feel the need to police the forum: Quit it. Nobody cares what you think. (Unless you're a moderator.)

I actually had the pleasure of riding a 925 today...all stock...I dug the flipped 3-speed style bars and the overall feel. I'd just finished trying out my new monocog....we have a 5 man team for the 24 hours of great glen...seemed to ride dandy, but I wasn't drunk, so only time will tell!

I think the 925 is a great rig and I'm happy that redline is building them.

I agree with what you're saying.
But didn't you join Feb. 2006?

Yeah, which is why I only respond to the policing. As opposed to initiating it.
