The races start just inside of the park, at Grand Army Plaza (GAP), this is right where the Brooklyn Library is, the very tippy top of the park. Brooklyn and I, and others, do laps in the park pretty regularly. Just drop a line if you want to go. Welcome to Brooklyn.

thanks, ive got something to shoot for now. i'm running 40x15 [recently down from 52x15]
i usually dont push myself too hard, and will be getting clips soon which should help my time, but the first lap i ever timed [yesterday afternoon] came out to about 9:45, give or take.
guess ive got some work to do.

Bearpaw, Brooklyn and myself hit the park a few times a week in an effort to get faster , you are more than welcome to join us. We usually do 6-8 laps and get to the park around 7ish.

Plus, I gotta hook you up w/ some clips/straps.

definitely.
i wasnt planning on being there yesterday, but con ed lost a bunch of feeder cables on the east side, & my office is on 18th/park ave south so they told us to split for the day around noon. i had the afternoon off to screw around on my bike. and take multiple showers.
