Hey Denver residents, I would like your help. So, I'll be driving with my roommate to Denver in a week. I will be arriving Thursday July 6th and leaving Sunday July 9th. He has to go to a wedding and is staying with his gf's family in a hotel. I have Thursday, Friday and Saturday to myself. I don't know anything about Denver and need advice on where to stay, how to get around (I won't have my bike..bummer), what to do and any knowledgable info. Right now I'm thinking of staying at the Hostel of the Rockies on Race St. What do you think? I'm a college student on a budget. Can I sleep in my car somewhere? Too hot? PM me if it's easier. the bus system (www.rtd-denver.com) is pretty good. it will probably not be too hot in the evening to sleep in a car, even though the days are hot. these guys may have a bike for you to borrow. i don't know anything about the hostels here. as far as keeping yourself entertained, it really depends on what you're interested in.
