bordshorts. . .

I make my scratch washing boats. . .I get pretty wet so I wear/ride in boardshorts. They're light, dry quick (sweat+h20), and they allow you to move freely. Anyone else riding in them? If you haven't, give it a whirl.

I wear (surf) boardshorts at work, surfing, paddling, sailing and for general casual wear. They rock--bigtime.

I love all 8 pairs of my boardshorts but not for riding, they aren't that comfy for riding cuz of all the seams and the whole comando thing.

With underwear or without?

wangster 06-30-06 07:59 PM

boardshorts are underwear and shorts in one, thats whats so great about it. If you wear underwear under your boardshort, something is wrong.

Msngr 06-30-06 08:00 PM

i'm wearing mine right now.

Are you talking that thin meshy sort of underwear? I can see how that would be real uncomfortable on a saddle...

[EDIT] Maybe this is just the mountain biker in me but I would also thing that board shorts' crotch would tend get caught on the saddle if you ever had to move in front of or off the back of the saddle.

Maybe it's just growing up in coastal NC, but a lot of people back home call any shorts with liners "swim trunks". None of the boardshorts I've ever worn have had liners, but then again, it may be a mid East coast thing. Who knows.

However, the real question is "who wears rashguards while riding?" (to look cool of course)

I rock em, under my bikingshorts

dude; your audience is wearing 'em w/underwear and under other shorts.

time to cut your losses.

boardshorts shouldn't have a liner, those are swim trunks worn by 10 year olds when they go to the beach with their moms.

a new word to add to my vocabulary: "boardshorts". thank you.
