Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? ewww ...technically, bonded aluminum is strong and
i know some people who ride bonded frames, but
only on the track. the guy i know who rode an aluminum
bonded road frame broke it. i mean, he re-glued it,
but on the road i would trust it half the distance i can
throw it.

I had a bonded mtb frame for years. It took a hell of a beating(I even snapped a bb spindle) and it never gave me any problems except having crappy geometry.
