Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I was hoping to see blood spraying everywhere. That was weak. He just looked like a he got stung by a bee.

She should have just ignore it and just casually said "you have some ketchup on your neck" and moved on.

She obviously take herself very seriously. What a prude.

Why would FOX even give those two nerds any shine. It seems like it backfired for everyone involved and now the public is going to hate on cyclists even more. Way to go.

Oh the horror! The poor children who were watching that! They will be traumatized forever!! LOL!

I agree with BEARPAW! that the reporter's reaction was much funnier than the prank. Funny how the camera went straight to the "injured" guy. HAHAHA!

I was thinking the same thing. They're not going to be hired to do any demos anywhere anymore.

I wonder if the guy had actually cut of a finger if the lady would have given him a lecture about traumatizing the children and viewing public. She sounds like his mother. I want to say C- on the prank, but I think I'll bump it to a C+ since he used the word "ruse" at the end.

you gotta bump that up to a B, cause not only did he use the word "ruse" but he got her saying it.. i think that was my favorite part.

Yeah, barely a C- on the prank, pretty lame. If she could have taken it better, the prank would have been even more lame.

How are you supposed to power an electric grinder on the street?

well show business could look at it in both ways, they may be able to set a higher standard for their next job (make more money) due to their unpredictability

Bikes: windsor hour, fly bikes pantera, custom lowrider, hoffman ep flatland bike, eastern hercules.

You know im kinda torn in so many directions with this.
1. A lot of people could see how easy it is to get a bike stolen in NYC
2. The public (especially new yorkers) doesnt need another reason to view cyclists as a bunch of kooks
3. That lady shouldnt take her self so seriously, she is a host for Good Day New York for christs sake! Journalism at its finest? pft!
4. I now have a reason to post this anytime someone is being a jerk on BFSSFG...

Because kids never do anything like dramatically pretend they're injured. And the news never shows anything horrifying or violent.
