Oh, whatever to do in San Francisco?

I'll be on the west coast for the next two weeks and I plan on being in San Francisco for three nights (10th, 11th and 12th). What are some good FG friendly shops to check out? Where's a good place to get punched in the face by a messenger? Good shows? Anyone know where Matt Skiba lives? Where are the pints cheap and the women loose? I'm going for the full immersion here.

I spent a week out there last summer, but I was too drunk to remember having fun. Help me out.

Yeah, it's my lady and I. We don't take up a lot of space and almost never wipe our butts on the decorative towels.

The last few times I was in SF I stayed at: Green Tortoise Hostel It is not as cheap as riding a couch but it is $25 for a dorm bed and breakfast in the morning. They also have a ton of other amenities for a hostel.

Cool, thanks for the tips. I'm not too concerned with accomodations. I've got a few friends in town who won't be too surprised to see us on their doorsteps in the middle of the night.

I stayed one night in a hostel last time I was out there. I don't recall the name, but it was just north of Market and had an awesome liquor store adjacent to it. I somehow ended up in a lesbian bar that night, walked a million blocks in the rain, then two friendly messengers pointed me in the right direction out of the wrong alley. They're good kind people, Stuart.

amen to that.

last time I was in the bay, in august, the temperature was in the high fifties. all i had was my hoodie, and i was balls cold the whole time. my thin southern californian blood can't hang with cold summer days.

Hey let me tell ya. The one thing I am looking forward to is getting out of this hot Virginia hell hole and splashing into some cool conditioned air. I cannot wait to freez my ass off.

Actually, Mr. Twain never said that.

https://www.snopes.com/quotes/twain.asp

It is a good quote, though more appropriate for the Sunset, no the Mission.
