Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

speaking of nuclear horrors, if you haven't seen The Hills Have Eyes, then you're missing out. Probably the best horror movie that i've seen since Saw/Saw II

i assume you're talking about the original version, because the remake was one of the worst, poorly done remakes i've seen in a long time.

the acting was horrible, but i like the campy factor. i liked the sets and the methods of disposal a lot. as a "remake" i thought it was a lot better than 2001 maniacs

Remember some years back some Hollywood actor type went out running in 100 degree heat in a metallic sweat suit. He desperately wanted to loose weight. He ended up getting heat exhaustion. Probably lost a couple pounds.
THis could be used as a cyclists' attempt at the same stunt.
