Good Books?

I've been reading a lot in the forum lately and finally decided to register and ask you all a question.

I want to put together a fixie for my self but do not have extensive knowledge on this (this will be my first time). I was wondering if any of you know any good books that I can get to reference along the way. I know Sheldon Browns website will be a help but I was looking for additional resources. I thought it would be a lot more fun to try to put one together myself rather that just buy a complete one...

Park Tool has how-tos and manuals. Lots of people also like Zinn and the Art of Road Bike Maintenance.

Gibson's Virtual Light features a futuristic, space-age bicycle messenger.

Yep, yep, yep.

Not better than George R. R. Martin's "The Song of Ice and Fire" series though.

I think we can all agree, however, that Cryptonomicon > Neuromancer.
