My lockring is stuck. Using Hozan lockring tool. Any advice?

If all else fails, including applying heat, you can split the ring with a dremel.

put the tire on the rim if you have taken it off fill it half way or so put it on a carpeted floor up against a wall where it will roll into the wall get it tight up against the wall then use both hands on the wrench and grunt a little

if it's an aluminum lockring, try a little ammonia. it will instantly disolve any aluminum oxide that formed between the threads.

otherwise try a little penetrating oil (no, not that kind) , like wd-40.

like some have suggested, make sure you're turning it clockwise to loosen it, as it is reverse threaded.

I Screwed My Pedal On The Wrong Way And It Stripped The Pedal And Some Of The Crank

do you ever try to twist the cap off of a beer bottle backwards? your cog screws off just like a bottle cap. the lockring is just the opposite.
