Man, that question comes up all the time.

Mikorp -- you should have it permanently on the page who does that song.

It's "The Mall".

And the song is super old, aparently.
I contacted them looking for it, and they sent me some newer CDs and it's not on there.

Too bad. The stuff I've found online (which I assume is more recent), sounds different. I believe I read that their drummer and bassist left the band (but I can't find the page I read that on, anymore, so it might have been some other band I read about before I found out whom I was looking for), would explain it.

Yeah, when I first messaged the guy I told him how I wanted that song in particular. He said it was on an old LP but that he could dig one up and send it to me. He sent me some s/t EP (super ****ing rad of them, by the way) but alas, did not contain the song I was looking for.
So, I dunno.

It's also not on the new 12", First, Before and Never Again

i think that song is on their myspace. you could probably use audiohijack or something similar to rip it.

(I messaged them a while ago inquiring about a cd, but got no reply.)

I used to be patiently waiting for mash.

Now I'm just waiting.

I have that song in mp3. I'll put it up in a bit. It was made available a while ago with their fecalFace interview.

I found the song attached as an mp3 to an interview with the band. I can't remember the website. Try googling for "the mall," band, interview, "san fransisco." I think that's what I did.

edit: looks like absntr's too fast for me.
