Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

You are a more patient man than I. We'll see if you feel the same 2 years from now.

Because its black and white??? I suppose if you painted many of the current track bikes black with a basic letter style in white they would look like the mark V. It looks nothing like the mark V imo. . .(fork aside)

I understand what you mean -- and sympathize (and even empathize) -- but I just would rather accomodate 1000 dumb questions that could have easily been found quicker and more thoroughly with a search or brief scan, than alienate 1 potential new member and positive contributor. Again, I'm not really disagreeing with you.

But now that you mention it, since there 5 stickies at the top of this forum, why isn't there a FAQ thread? Just no one has taken the initiative yet? Or is there one, and I just haven't found it yet?

Bikes: yes

seems to me that this moth, being alu, would be very different from the mark v, which is 4130.

the geometry seems a little tracker than the mark v. entry level alu track frameset? interesting.

Ouch. Brings back memories of the pain of doing graphic design on a DOS computer back in '88.
