36 hours/Four flat tires

WTF?!?!?!?! Not one flat for six months, then this? What the hell!

*throws things*

At least I can now change a tire without any tools outside of a 15mm wrench and a 3mm allen key...

Removed the debris/puncture-agent every time. Two tires and two tubes, even. Crazy.

Wow...that sux !
99.8% of my flats are puncture that dont even
require removing the wheel. No 15mm needed.

yeah, I've found that flats run together, as strange as that is. A guy on my lunch ride had 3 flats on his 20 mile commute this morning.

Check your spokes, make sure the spokes arent poking through the tape.

Maybe your tires are getting a little thin? They do wear out.

what kind of tires are you using?

when i went to monstertrack, i got 3 rear flats in 48 hours. each time the tire held up for a while. when i replaced it at home, i noticed that the tire was just beat.

First two were with an old but still pretty OK Conti Ultra 3000. Second two with a brand new Bontrager tire, no spoke issues, etc. Punctures were as follows: glass, metal shard, glass, (?)ceramic....thing. Crazy.

You need to get the Surley with the thumb screw, much easier. And it opens beers, too.

Ha. Had the Surly, didn't look right on the Erba. Double MKS tensioners was the ticket. Besides, my frame is spaced 123mm to accomodate two MKS tensioners, so it's only fair to the bike...

Ah ha. I still can't get a tire off a rim without a lever. I can put it back on. But can't get it off.

Bikes: Old ****ed up Cannondale roadie, peice o **** Gitane as a beater, and I use my Nishiki for bike camping

in my experience, sometimes flats just come in groups. kinda like plane crashes.
