Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

FYI - Retouching paint

I've been looking for a matching red paint for touch-up for my Erba since I got it, and a few days ago I finally figured it out. As suggested by Karl at Klunk (https://www.klunkcycles.com), I got some Testors model paint. This sh*t matches PERFECTLY. As in, aside from it not being quite as smooth, you can't tell that it's been touched-up. Fantastic stuff, really, and durable too. I highly recommend it. A decent hobby/model shop should have a crapload of different colors. Worth a shot if you've had trouble matching paint to your frame.

Nail polish too...
Not real durable but you can always find a match !

Oddly enough, while I generally concur, I bought like 11 bottles of nail polish and couldn't match my bike's shade of red. Testors #1103 is dead on, though.
